Through the years, I6NET has developed and improved VXI* the first and leading VoiceXML browser for Asterisk®. This interpreter works directly with the Asterisk® PBX software supported by Digium®.  Not only can users of the open source PBX run VoiceXML applications in the same server, they can now offer powerful, scalable IVR / IVVR solutions at an affordable cost.

Getting started:

  1. Choose a PC or Server with Linux OS
  2. Plug a TDM board E1/T1 or use VoIP with inside ethernet card.
  3. Install Asterisk PBX 1.4 or 1.6
  4. Install VXI* VoiceXML browser
  5. Install ASR, TTS or other addons…
  6. Now, you can discover the great experience that comes in such a small download…

VXI* VoiceXML Browser is an openly available, single download product with few configuration required: just one 9 MB download. VXI* works with any web development language or server including ASP, CGI, C#, Java, PERL, PHP and Python. VXI* has a built-in web server that supports PHP and Java applications as well. The platform, which runs on Linux, installs in minutes.
