This demo show you how each TTS works with our VXI* VoiceXML browser to test many languages by yourself over a PSTN call or a web call. Our VXI* server is connected to all of these engines at the same time, and it’s running each VoiceXML session in real-time. We will extend this demo service for more languages and voices in the next weeks.

It’s new TTS option but it’s really interesting because Lumenvox is able to provide both ASR and TTS engines for VXI*. In 2008, It was the first Speech Recognition provider for Asterisk and the first one running with the VXI* VoiceXML browser too.

Lumenvox TTS voices are available in: British English, American English, American Spanish with many more coming soon, e.g. French, Australian English, German.

This new TTS option called CURL connector is available with our last VXI* 5.0 release suite, you can get it at our Xtras* addons download area: http://downloads.i6net.com. It’s a very interesting solution for Cloud IVR or any convergent Web 2.0 phone services. Google Translate TTS is a cloud service available for many languages; stay tunned at our blog.
